Shelties Available as of 05/06/08   (scroll down after reading these important facts)

  • The Shelties you see below are currently available for adoption , unless otherwise noted.     To begin the Adoption process, you will need to read this first.     Adoption Information

  • All dogs in our program are purebred Shelties, unless otherwise noted.

  • All Shelties listed are vet checked and healthy, spayed or neutered, current on shots, HW tested, wormed, flea protected and groomed before they leave here.

  • Our Senior Program is a program developed to promote the placement of senior dogs, (which are always so hard to adopt out).   Under this program,  we will help with vet bills for extraordinary or age related issues.  Ask for details. Read one adopters story

  • We do not recommend most Shelties with toddlers.  If you have small children, we would suggest a Lab or Golden Retriever.   These breeds are much better with small children.

  • For the comfort and safety of our dogs,  we require a fully fenced (front or rear) yard to adopt a dog from us.

  • Size-  All Shelties that we list are measured (in inches) from the ground to the top of the dogs back/neck....not the top of the head.   There is NO SUCH BREED as a "Miniature Sheltie".   There are very small Shelties and there are large shelties, but they are all "Shelties"

Newest dogs added at the bottom

AnnaBell
Very gentle and sweet Sable-Merle (gray & sable & white)  female.  She is 9 yrs old.   Wonderfully behaved. Anna is the perfect calm, loving companion.

Roxie

Gives rescue it's meaning!
This little girl was bred until she got heartworm, and then she spent her days and nights in a mud pen outside.  We guess Roxie to be between 2-4 years old.   She is VERY sweet and friendly and loves everything and everyone.  Roxie is a bigger Sheltie at around 40 pounds. She is a love!!
She is great with kids and other dogs. She is not good with cats.  We are treating her heartworm and she will make a full recovery with no lingering effects.   If you want a dog who will lavish you with love and gratefulness, Roxie is your girl.   She will be ready to go to her new home in mid to late May.   If you live close you may be able to foster her until our vet releases her..

Abby and Chloe

2 Blue Merle sisters.  3 years old.   Both are very sweet, loving and kissy lapdogs. Both are  housetrained, good with animals and older kids.  These 2 need to stay together.  Both are bigger Shelties.

Lacey

Lacey is a 5 yr old very small....(but very overweight) sable female.  Once she slims down she will weigh 15-20 pounds. , Lacey is a lapdog and a cuddlebug.   Good with older kids and other animals.  She will prefer a calm quiet home.   Housetrained and all around a sweet girl!!   If you need a walking partner to lose weight with....Lacey is your girl!

Katie is a beautiful sable and white purebred Collie
Katie is 2 years old and was given up when her owner died.  She is a tad overweight at 90 pounds now, on a diet headed for about 80 pounds.   Katie is sweet, playful and loves everyone.  She is housetrained, and just a perfect lady!!   Great with kids and other animals. She was so matted when she got here that we had to shave her back legs.  Of course, it will grow back.
