Shelties Available as of 02/07/10   (scroll down after reading these important facts)

  • The Shelties you see below are currently available for adoption , unless otherwise noted.     To begin the Adoption process, you will need to read this first.     Adoption Information

  • All dogs in our program are purebred Shelties, unless otherwise noted.

  • All Shelties listed are vet checked and healthy, temperament tested, spayed or neutered, brought current on shots, HW tested, wormed, flea protected, micro-chipped and groomed before they leave.

  • Our Senior Program is a program developed to promote the placement of senior dogs, (which are always so hard to adopt out).   Under this program,  we will help with vet bills for extraordinary or age related issues.  Ask for details. Read one adopters story

  • We do not recommend most Shelties with toddlers.  If you have small children, we would suggest a Lab or Golden Retriever.   These breeds are much better with small children.

  • Size-  All Shelties that we list are measured (in inches) from the ground to the top of the dogs back/neck....not the top of the head.   There is NO SUCH BREED as a "Miniature Sheltie".   There are very small Shelties and there are large shelties, but they are all "Shelties"

  • For the comfort and safety of our dogs,  we require a fully fenced (front or rear) yard to adopt a dog from us.

PLEASE HELP.    EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS.

Susie-Q
Beautiful Blue Merle female.  Susie is a mill rescue, so can be a bit timid at first, but once she knows you she has a VERY sweet, friendly temperament.  Now free from a life of breeding, she has learned how to be a house-pet and she LOVES it.   Susie is 9 yrs old,  very calm and laid back and doesn't get upset about anything. We have her housetrained and well mannered in the house. Susie has one Blue eye and one Brown eye. Susie is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is wonderful with any other animal.   Susie will do best in a quiet, adult home.

Jessica
9 yr old Blue Merle female.  Sweet, gentle and loving.   Jessica has one blue eye.  This gentle girl will steal your heart.  Jessica came in with a group of Shelties after authorities took them away from their owner for neglect.  Jessica is back to health, and ready to share a lot of love with someone.  Jessica is a bit timid at first, but a total lover once she knows you.

Allea
VERY small 4 yr old Tri female.   Allea came to us pregnant.  Daddy is also a purebred Sheltie, so Puppies are purebred.   12/21/09  Allea had 3 puppies.   2 Boys and 1 girl.   Allea will weigh about 15 pounds once babies are weaned and she looses her puppy weight.  Puppies will be ready to leave the end of February. Puppies are all Tri's and will be small as adults.   Allea will also be available once she is spayed toward the end of February.   Picture above is about an hour after she delivered them.  She is tired!

Gracie
Beautiful very light/blond sable 7 yr old female.  Gracie is a bigger girl at 40 pounds..  Very sweet, very laid back and gentle. Gracie should weigh closer to 35...so we are working on that.  Housetrained, and walks on a leash, crate trained and cuddly. Gracie loves attention and will lay quietly at your feet when you are busy.  A real sweetheart!!

Tucker
Very small Bi-Black male.  4 yrs old.  Shy at first, then very sweet.   Gets along well with other dogs his size... a bit afraid of bigger dogs.   On a diet now, headed for 15-18 pounds.

Tommy
Friendly, playful very pretty sable male. All around fun dog.   2-3 yrs old   Tommy will be ready for adoption mid February.  Housetrained, friendly to all....nice young playful boy.

Phoenix
Darling small 2 yr old sable male, with an unbelievable story of survival.  He is VERY VERY SHY with people, so will need a lot of patience and work to overcome his shyness.  He has the basics down; ie: he is housetrained. He has a nice temperament and will be a loyal loving companion in about a year.  Phoenix loves other dogs, and would do best with another small dog in the home.

Brando

Beautiful 1 yr old Black and Tan purebred German Shepherd.   Came to us in a round-about-way....but he is here and needs a home.   Housetrained, but still very puppy-like.  Playful, friendly fun dog.  Brando will chase cats, so best he go to a cat-free home.  Brando is great with other dogs and older kids.  Brando is an awesome ball player and would love a fun loving family to call his own.   Nice boy.
