We send all our dogs out with these collars.
- A Sheltie's neck is bigger than his
head.....allowing them to slip out of a buckle collar.
- Shelties tend to startle or spook easier than other
breeds. Backing out of their collar is a real concern.
These Collars come in
Regular and Large. The
Regulars are 5/8"inch thick and the Large's are thicker and
heavier at 3/8 inches thick.
Most shelties will use a size
"Regular". These collars are fully adjustable.
Measure your dogs neck snuggly.
If your dogs neck measures between 10-16 inches, then order the
Regular. If your Sheltie is a bigger Sheltie, then order
the Large. The biggest difference between the two sizes is
the WIDTH. The Large size is thicker and more heavy-duty
than the regular.
Both collars
have 3.5 - 4 inch expansion, so collar is not tight until you pull it. Collar
should fit snug when not in use.
You may certainly exchange your collar if you order
the wrong size.
